We Don’t Hold Ourselves to Gold Standards

We Create Them.

Equal parts streetwise chefs, hardcore food scientists and trend trackers, we blend our inspiration and innovation to get you seriously successful results.

Craftsmen to our core, our combined knowledge only challenges us to learn and do more. Simply put, our team works to evolve tastes and fuel business solutions through strategic partnerships, food and beverage trends, and beyond.

Whether it’s in-house, project specific or open consulting, we work with you and your budget to deliver the results, recipes and products your customers crave. From ideation to commercialization, we bring your concept to life.

We’re advocates for modern formulation methods, and we practice what we preach. Greener, cleaner menu demand continues to grow, and we’re able to formulate across a range of desires from locally sourced, organic and elevated health perception to sustainable/humane cultivation and GMO free.

Data, insights and shared practices allow us to drive your business farther, faster. Our process is collaborative—for us, innovation means co-creation with our clients. These connections and relationships are what turn good into great. CFS is your best partner to create effective, iconic ways to push your culinary limits.

How did you arrive at running this business? What path brought you here? Over 20 years of experience in the development of products from inception to commercialization led me to want a change. The one piece of the pie I was always lacking was marketing insight. Thus, we created Creative Food Solutions, a collaborative company that merges product design with food marketing.

What are you known for professionally? What do you have a knack for? I have a real knack for designing products that have stumped others. The harder the challenge, the more I like it!

What’s the one problem you are best at solving for your clients? I have a real strength when it comes to protein formulation, especially beef and poultry.

What are you most passionate about professionally? I find it a true honor to design foods that feed tens of thousands of people daily. It’s what I love best about my job!

What are you passionate about personally? What do you really enjoy? What can’t you stop talking about? I’m an old-school family man that loves his wife and his daughters. Also, I am an official car nut. I’m always in the midst of a project build of some sort, getting my hands dirty and loving every minute of it.

What would be impossible for you to give up? Italian food!

Why would someone not want to work with you? I sing while I work!

Anything else you’d like to tell people about yourself? I am so lucky to truly love what I do for work and to have so much love at home.

Arriving to this Business:
After two decades of working between the front and back of the house in the food and beverage industry, I wanted a new canvass to impact the food industry. After learning what Creative Food Solutions and The Food Group does, I saw the potential to positively affect consumers’ rapidly-growing knowledge and demand of our food system. And I wanted to be a part of that growth.

Knack for:
I have an unending drive to perfect the approach of a recipe, technique, or system. My curiosity drives this and keeps me challenged into finding out the “what ifs.”

Problem solving for clients:
I love describing cooking techniques and a thought process of an ideation.

Professional Passion:
The positive effects food has in cultures. Food brings people together for social gatherings and nourishes us with fuel. We need food!

Personal Passion:
I enjoy being with my family and cooking, playing sports and enjoying the day.

Impossible to give up:
Gluten

Why wouldn’t anyone want to work with you:
I can be an intense person. But most of the time, my peers realize that I am focused…and that can be infectious.

Myself:
To be humble, driven and fair…life goals. And be a baseball player someday.
